MacRumors reported that cases of the up and coming iPhone 5 have popped up in AT&T‘s inventory listing.
The tapered design case showed up in a screenshot of AT&T’s inventory listing, which was posted by a few prominent blogs such as Apple-dedicated blog TiPb and Boy Genius Report. The screenshot include 3 listings of the iPhone 5 cases made by Case-mate.
A few weeks ago Case-mate was also in the news when they updated their site with a product-gallery of iPhone 5 cases. They took it down after some buzz on the internet and replaced it with a pre-order page.
Many speculators have considered the fact that the company will offer only one of the two models at an event next week, while another speculation has indicated that Apple will only release an upgraded version of the current iPhone.
This update came about in light of a highly expected Apple “event” where they will supposedly reveal the iPhone 5 and maybe the new iPhone 4 once and for all.
