Apple’s next BIG event on October 4, iPhone 5 announcement?

On Tuesday, October 4th 2011 could be a historic day for Apple and even for iPhone’s enthusiastic. According to the Wall Street Journal’s technology blog AllThingsD, that’s the date when Apple is expected to hold their next big media event, citing sources – “close to the situation”.

Possibly, it’s also will be the same day where newly appointed CEO Tim Cook will unveil Apple’s big product, the iPhone 5. Cook is expected to be the presenter for the media event after Steve Jobs resigned last month and this will be his first appearance to introduce new Apple’s products as CEO.

We are expecting iPhone 5 will be the key product to launch on the date, there are also reports says; analysts believe a revamped version of existing iPhone 4 (low-cost version), the “iPhone 4S” might be revealed along with the iPhone 5 during the day, or possibly just an iPhone 4S.

In addition from ATD, the new device will be available for purchase after a few weeks from the announcement date. This rumor could be accurate if you are still aware of what France Telecom CEO Stéphane Richard has said earlier.

This is quite plausible. Telus a major carrier in Canada is currently running a lower priced promotion push on its current iphone 4 (ie, an inventory purge before the 4S/5 is announced causing the 4 to be worth less to consumers) which oddly ends on Oct 4th a Tuesday.

-If there is step to we get it !! (NOW), or don’t tell me that
(you should be waiting 5 months after release date, then well be available in your country).

  10. Release date of 21st October gives them just over 2 months before Xmas, will their actually be enough supply to keep up with demand this time? Maybe Samsung can throw a spanner in the works with some legal action and give Apple a taste of their own medicine?? :-)
