Apple has finally confirmed it will hold a media event on Tuesday, October 4th at Apple’s Cupertino, California campus (10am PT) as rumored. With the tagline “Let’s talk iPhone”, this is obviously will be an iPhone-focused media event.
As has been speculated, iPhone 5 and possibly iPhone 4S are expected to be introduced (or possibly only one new device will be reveled – read at bottom of the article), newly appointed Apple’s CEO Tim Cook is also expected to deliver the presentation during the media event and this will be his first time to introduce the new iPhone to the public as CEO.
TNW indicates the iPhone 5 will be available for purchase on Friday, October 14th — ”We have been told by a reliable source…”. Despite the availability date of the iPhone 5, let’s just wait till what Apple will say during the media event this October 4th shall we?
Look at the icons closely, maybe each icon has its own meaning (we could be wrong but we think you can see it by yourself);
- Calendar - The media event date, Tuesday 4th
- Clock – Time when the media event will begin, 10am
- Map – Location of media event will be held
- Phone with a “number 1″ – “One phone”, either just an iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S?

This is great news. I really can’t wait to get it. I have the same feelings Apple will only release 1 phone instead of 2 we heard. Hopefully it is an iphone 5!

I think apple will release a completely new designed iphone (iPhone 5), and the same design as the iPhone 4 but with the same specs of the iPhone 5 (iPhone 4S)

I have the iPhone 4S. Love it! Still learning new things about it. Can’t wait to own the 5. I have a ipad2 a nano an iPod III love them all. Just hope the 5 is bigger than. The 4S
