Alleged iPhone 5 parts reveals A5 chipset & x430 mAh battery

Chinese social networking site (Weibo) posted an image showing A5 chipset and x430 mAh battery will possibly be the components for the next-gen iPhone (iPhone 5).

iPad 2 is currently using the A5 chipset, however the A5 chipset in the image isn’t from the iPad 2 as it is slightly different.

The image posted also quite a bit fishy to us; the “A5″ logo is stamped on the chipset isn’t painted and it’s a little bit off. Another thing, x430 mAh (iPhone 4 has around 1420 mAh) reads on the battery, but as we are concern, Apple does only stamps the Voltage and Whr on the outside of the battery, not the capacity in mAh.

Along with that, the source of the image can’t be confirmed.

I believe the batter says “1430mAh” as you can see a sliver of what appears to be a “1″ before the stated “430mAh”.
However, I completely agree on the chip… that one is weird and not Apple’s style in my opinion.

Checking the casing of the phone in the picture, it kinda doesn’t look like the glass casing for the front… but I have no idea. Oh, and that clip on the side of the case looks fairly large. If this is part of the next generation iPhone, I don’t believe it will be any thinner than the iPhone 4, at least at the top of the phone anyways.

The logic board looks like its from an iPhone 4, its exactly the same shape…
Also, the glass on the front has the camera and speaker bezel conveniently in the same place as an iPhone 4, a white one in this case :3
Id say this is a deconstructed iPhone 4 with the A4 painted out and A5 stamped over it
Or if you’re really hopeful, its one of Apples test iPhone 4′s with an A5 chip, either way.

  4. I don’t think so parts of iPhone 5 will be cheap.. Even iPhone 4 parts are much expensive.

    This is 100% fake!

Did anyone else notice that the front facing camera hole is a lot larger on this leak than it is on the iPhone 4? The piece of whatever on the left looks like the reverse side of the front glass. You can see the earpiece hole, proximity sensor grill, and what looks to be a larger camera hole, along with a blue thing in the place of the screen and it seems to go to the edges. If this is a real photo, it’s made me very excited.
